Şen Kadeh - Raki Glasses Set of 4
We asked M. Arel Siviş, who drew the illustrations on the glass, "Where did you get the idea from?" Arel combined old with new. The motifs are old, but the colors and drawing are new. The clothes are Ottoman-inspired. When we asked, "Then why is that table spinning?" he gave us a grand answer: "It's not spinning, it's extending. Extending to infinity. Like all ancient cultures."

Anason İşleri About
The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. Alongside classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new voices such as Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are emerging, and new-generation meyhanes are joining the ranks of classical ones. Raki is no longer merely a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all stripes blend creativity, taste, life energy, music, meze, and camaraderie. The white of raki is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.
Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this lively, revitalized raki culture together with the language of design. They aimed to create products that transcend the office environment and digital world, touching daily life, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. They have created innovative designs across a wide spectrum, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to give raki culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
