The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. While new voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are added alongside classic names such as Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new-generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer just a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all backgrounds blend creativity, taste, zest for life, music, mezes, and conversation. The "raki white" is now becoming a spectrum that embraces differences.
Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this lively, vibrant raki culture together with the language of design. They set out to create products that touch daily life, dining tables, and homes, stepping outside the office environment and digital world. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. They have created innovative designs across a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to transform raki culture into a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
