The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, incorporating different colors and dynamic energy. While new voices like Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol are added alongside classical names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar, new-generation meyhanes (taverns) are also emerging alongside classic ones. Raki is no longer merely a beverage belonging to middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all stripes blend creativity, taste, zest for life, music, meze, and camaraderie. The white of raki is now evolving into a spectrum that embraces differences.

Anason İşleri (Aniseed Works) was born with the aim of blending this vibrant, revitalized raki culture with the language of design. They aimed to step out of the office environment and the digital world to create products that touch daily lives, tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced aniseed-scented products. They have created innovative designs across a wide range, from raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories. Anason İşleri aims to give raki culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
