Oğuz Demir was introduced to comic books and humor magazines in his primary school years. His first works were published in Gırgır during his high school years. In 1993, he graduated from Anadolu University's Graphic Arts department and settled in Istanbul. His works have been featured in various catalogs and exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad. Oğuz Demir has received national and international awards in cartoon and illustration, and also has a solo exhibition. Since 1993, he has continued his illustration and cartoon work for various publishing houses, agencies, and magazines.

The 500-year-old raki culture continues to rejuvenate over time, embracing different colors and dynamic energy. While classic names like Hamiyet Yüceses and Müzeyyen Senar are joined by new voices such as Hayko Cepkin and Gaye Su Akyol, traditional meyhanes are accompanied by new-generation meyhanes. Raki is no longer just a drink for middle-aged, fatherly men; it is transforming into a culture where people of all kinds blend creativity, gusto, life energy, music, meze, and conversation. The white of raki is now evolving into a spectrum that embraces differences.
Anason İşleri was born with the aim of bringing this vibrant, revitalizing raki culture together with the language of design. They aimed to step out of the office environment and the digital world to create products that touch daily lives, dinner tables, and homes. Adopting the principle of transforming crisis into design, they produced anise-scented products. From raki glasses to meze plates, tablecloths to t-shirts, wallpapers to accessories, they created innovative designs across a wide range. Anason İşleri aims to give raki culture a universal form by collaborating with innovative designers.
