The open comb head, which lacks a guard bar, allows the comb to gather the beard, enabling the blade to contact the skin directly and at a nearly perpendicular angle, offering a very close – BBS shave.

Designed for longer beards of at least 2-3 days, the comb structure allows the blade to shave deeper into the beard. This is why it performs surprisingly cleanly on long, coarse, and dense beards.

The high-quality synthetic fibers used in this set are our own invention and represent a world first. The material properties offer a premium synthetic quality, resembling valuable natural fibers like badger hair. Most users even say that this quality offers better performance characteristics than natural bristles.

These features create a pleasant, soft feeling on the skin when applying lather, without compromising the desired firm stance during the lathering process (it has backbone).
