This shaving set belongs to the Mühle Rytmo design series. The closed comb razor is compatible with all (and only) double-edge blades.
4-piece shaving set with bowl:
- Razor head: classic razor – performs with double-edge blades with a closed comb head structure.
- The classic razor consists of 3 parts. Its head is interchangeable (open – closed).
- Material: Natural ash wood – metal chrome details
- Shaving brush bristle type: Black Fibre synthetic
- Shaving brush knot diameter: 21 mm (medium)
- Bowl and stand: Metal-chrome plated
The ash wood does not require special treatment. It has been specially treated to become water-resistant. Nevertheless, it is beneficial not to leave it in water for a long time and to gently dry it after rinsing, due to the natural texture.
Oiling the wood texture once a year with a suitable wood care oil ensures that your brush will serve you with the same quality and appearance for many years.
The Black Fibre synthetic shaving brush is a vegan brush with good water retention, capable of quickly creating lather. Its bristles dry quickly, and maintenance is effortless.
To use your brushes with the same performance for years, it is important to rinse the bristles very well after shaving and leave them to dry by hanging them in an airy environment.
About the razor head structure:
The performance of a classic razor is determined by its head structure, and this razor has a closed comb head.
A closed head is a structure where the safety bar is present, allowing the blade to contact your skin at a controlled and safe angle.
Closed comb razors are preferred by those who are new to traditional shaving, shave daily or every 2-3 days, and have sensitive skin.
The blade cannot directly contact your skin; it can only contact at an angle range of 30-45 degrees. This provides a controlled and medium-mild shave.
