About the razor head design:

The performance of a classic safety razor is determined by its head design, and this razor has a closed comb head.

A closed head is a design where there is a guard bar, allowing the blade to contact your skin at a controlled and safe angle.

These features create a pleasant, soft feeling on the skin when lather is applied, without sacrificing the desired firm stance (backbone) during the lathering process. In daily use, the hand-processed fibers are less sensitive than natural bristles because they dry faster and are resistant to soaps and creams.
These completely vegan fibers last longer than natural bristles (all animal-hair brushes). This is because a creamy and thick lather is obtained from a small amount of shaving soap or cream, resulting in less usage.
