General Principle:

It is important to strop your razor before each shave.

Stropping Process:

Secure the razor strop horizontally and tautly (e.g., to a doorknob).
Place your razor flat on the strop with the non-sharp side of the blade facing forward.
Glide the blade across the strop in an "X" pattern. This way, all sharp edges of the blade are stropped.
To strop the blade, keep this principle in mind: The blade should always be turned from the spine of the blade, not the sharp edge.
Slide the blade across the strop with approximately 20 even and consistent hand movements (10 for each side).

After Stropping:

The razor is now ready for shaving.

Razor Care:

Razors require special attention and care.
The sharp edge must be protected from impacts or friction.
After each use, clean your razor carefully and store it dry.
If it will not be used for a long time, lightly oil your razor and store it in a dry place out of reach of children.
